Albert Einstein suspected something
As many prominent scientists believe, the study of consciousness is in the first place required to understand the subject in the broad sense of the word — brain, thinking, mind, and so on. And quite possibly, consciousness is among those categories that can’t be properly studied using material and physical methods, instruments, and the like.

The question immediately arises: what is there inside, near, or related to such concept as cognitive science? Has something important been missed? We will try to offer an alternative view of the problem.
Let’s take a step back and think: what else is there? To do this, we can seek help from the famous, world-respected scientists who came up with thoughts and hypotheses that were, let’s say, ambiguous at the time of their revelations.
04
Logic is a descriptive language needed for one person to understand the other person’s associative series. But the decision-making process inside, let’s say, a person’s head occurs in a completely different way. So, somehow, this thinking and pondering process has happened. It didn’t happen through logical connections, transitions, or mathematics, it just happened. In Penrose’s terms, it got "quantumly fused."
07
03
How can "at least" thinking alone be studied? After all, if consciousness is added to the study, it will be too difficult to study all of this with the current, albeit state-of-the-art, methods that biology or even quantum physics has.
05
Albert Einstein paid much attention to the process of "thinking" as such and considered both perception through the senses and pictures arising from thinking and ordering of series with no logical connections through such pictures.
06
Albert Einstein attributed the results of his works, including the theory of relativity and other great achievements, to illogical thinking. He believed that the thinking process occurs in a slightly different way, through some associative series, and it is these series that he called pictures.
08
Einstein did not develop those thoughts — he was busy with other things. But the idea of perception and some ILlogical, i.e., non-computational, leap from perception to thinking is obvious.
